Quick Cupid reserves the right to deny entry to any individual who fails to conduct themselves appropriately or does not adhere to event guidelines. This decision is at our sole discretion. We may also request proof of age and refuse admission if the identification provided is invalid, altered, expired, or if we are not satisfied with its authenticity. In cases where entry is denied under these circumstances, no refunds will be issued for any payments or deposits made.

To attend a Quick Cupid event, participants must be at least 18 years old. Please do not attempt to register if you are under this age. Quick Cupid holds no responsibility or liability for the actions of individuals met through our events.

We are not responsible for the conduct of participants before, during, or after an event. By attending a Quick Cupid event, you agree to waive any claims against Quick Cupid related to social or dating interactions, including but not limited to:

a. Errors in matching contact details, whether caused by customer error or an error on our part.
b. Any loss or damage to personal belongings.
c. Any harm or loss caused by other participants before, during, or after the event.

Under defamation laws applicable in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia, you agree not to publish negative or defamatory content about Quick Cupid in any form, including online, print, or other media.

By participating in our events, you consent to the use of any event photographs for promotional and advertising purposes unless you notify us otherwise. If you prefer your photos not to be used, please inform us in advance, and we will respect your request.

Accessibility

Note that some of our venues are upstairs or located in function rooms that may not be accessible for wheelchair users. If you require special arrangements for any type condition that may affect your participation in an event, please contact us in advance.

Refunds and Cancellations

Organising a Quick Cupid event requires careful planning to ensure balanced participation. Therefore, once a ticket has been purchased, no refunds or credits will be given for cancellations or non-attendance.

As a courtesy to other participants, please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

If you cancel, the cancellation is final. You will not be permitted to attend the event and will be refused entry. However, at our sole discretion, a credit may be issued if we receive notice at least seven days prior to the event.

We strive to maintain equal numbers of participants. If we need to cancel an event, you will receive a credit to attend a future event, valid for six months, which may also be transferred to a friend or family member.

To prevent disruptions, we require all attendees to confirm attendance by 5:00 PM the day before the event. Failure to confirm attendance may result in forfeiture of your ticket without refund or credit.

Once an event has started, no refunds, credits, or admissions will be granted.

In rare cases, we may change the venue location. If this occurs, we will provide at least 24 hours’ notice and the new location will be communicated to attendees.

All attendees must arrive 15 minutes prior to beginning of the event to allow time for check-in.

We reserve the right to request photo ID upon arrival simply to ensure the ages of attendees are relevant to the event. Entry may be refused without a refund if photo ID cannot be presented.

Special Offers and Incorrect Bookings

Tickets purchased through special offers are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you mistakenly book an event that is clearly marked as ‘sold out’, no refund will be issued. We may transfer your booking to a future event. If you deliberately book into the wrong age group, no refund will be given.

Direct Deposit Bookings

All direct deposit transactions must be accompanied by an email notification to us. If we do not receive proof of your payment via email, we will be unable to confirm your booking. If you fail to provide transaction details, we will attempt to book you for a future event, but we are not responsible for reversing the transaction. You will need to contact your bank if you wish to seek a refund.

We do not accept direct deposit payments within three days of an event—only credit card payments will be accepted during this time. We do not hold tickets under any circumstances; only credit card payments guarantee a spot at our events.

Age Verification

We reserve the right to request photo identification. If you do not meet the specified age range for an event, you will not be allowed to participate, and no refund will be provided. If you intentionally book an event outside your age range, we may ban you from future participation.

Providing False Information

If we discover that you have provided false or misleading details, including using a fake name or incorrect age, at our discretion you will be permanently banned from our events without the possibility of a refund. 

Banned Participants

To ensure a respectful and enjoyable environment, we reserve the right to ban individuals who behave inappropriately, including those who display rude or aggressive behavior. Banned individuals will not receive refunds.

Non-Attendance

If you register for an event but do not attend and fail to notify us, your details will be removed from our database and you will not be allowed to participate in future events. No refunds will be issued in this case.

Match Results

All match results are final and you cannot request changes to your matches after they have been sent.

Information about participants that you were not matched with will not be passed on to you. The correct filling in of the scorecard is entirely your responsibility. If you believe there was an error in your matches, we can verify your scorecard for a $30 fee. If an error is found on our part, we will refund your $30 fee plus an additional 25% and send you an electronic copy of your original scorecard. If no error is found, the $30 fee is non-refundable.
